EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Commanders, Week 4

Week 4 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds end up winning their fourth game of the season at The Linc against the Washington Commanders, who were 2-1 coming into this game, by a score of 34-31 in nail biter of a game that went into overtime. The Eagles remain undefeated and are 4-0 on the season, and in first place in the NFC East,

This was a difficult game to watch at times as it was a tale of two halves. The Eagles offense and defense both struggled in the first half. They made some adjustments and came out looking good in the second half until the fourth quarter where the defense let Commanders quarterback Sam Howell eat them up towards the end of regulation. Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown put up some great numbers today, but the rushing attack wasn’t there as it has been in previous weeks.

Defensively, the secondary was quite a liability this week giving up some big plays to the Commanders offense. Yet, this defense came away with five sacks and nine quarterback hits. It was a close game that they ended up pulling out.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Josh Shuster, filling in for the guys this week!
