Will The Sixers Continue to Advance This Postseason? (PST Episode 511)

The Philadelphia 76ers have swept the Brooklyn Nets and now advance, yet again, to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. What did we learn from the Sixers during the first-round of the playoffs, and can they potentially beat a prolific team like the Boston Celtics to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals? This week, Jonathan Geib from TheSixersSense.com at FanSided joined us for a great discussion about this Sixers team and if they could continue to advance during this postseason.

But first, we responded to our Twitter poll results this past week about whether or not the Eagles will stay or move from the No. 10 overall pick in the NFL Draft. (approx. 11:20)

We then discussed Jalen Hurts’ contract extension, and how it may both hamper and help the team in the future as the Birds’ continue to remain dominant in the NFC. (approx. 16:50)

From there, we talked about how, thankfully, the Phillies bullpen has stepped up as of late to help this team win games. (approx. 25:50)

We then gave our thoughts on the Sixers and Nets series, and concerns about getting out of the second-round once again. (approx. 32:25)

What we threw down on the Table this week was a great discussion with Jonathan Geib from The Sixer Sense. What did we learn from the 76ers against the Nets, and what type of Joel Embiid will we see when he returns for the first game of the semifinals? Tobias Harris is still that “under the radar” player, and P.J. Tucker will be a key component to setting the tone during the next round matchup. All of this and much more this week on the Table! (approx. 44:45)
