EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Rams, Week 5

Week 5 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds end up winning their fifth game of the season on the road at SoFi Stadium against the Los Angeles Ram by a score of 23-14. The Eagles remain undefeated and are 5-0 on the season, and in first place in the NFC East,

This Eagles team put up 454 total yards on the Rams, but it felt like they left a lot of plays and opportunities out on they field. Jalen Hurts certainly was more aggressive this week using his legs and athleticism - very reminiscent of the 2022 season as he put up 72 yards on the ground and 1 rushing touchdown. It was Dallas Goedert’s breakout game of the season as well!

Defensively, the secondary still has some issues, specifically in the slot corner position. However, at the end of the day, the defensive line was dominating at the end of the game when they needed to. They kept the Rams to scoring only 14 points.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Matt Rogers, filling in for the guys this week!
