EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Jets, Week 6

Week 6 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds lost their first game of the season on the road at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ against the New York Jets by a score of 20-14. The Eagles are now 5-1 on the season, and they are still in first place in the NFC East.

What a debacle of a game from start to finish as the Eagles turned the ball over four times. Three of those turnovers were interceptions thrown by Jalen Hurts. The offense was predicated on the pass this week, as the running backs only ran the ball 14 times. Bad passes, drops, and an injured offensive line is why the offense couldn’t get going today.

Defensively, the secondary had a ton of injury issues int his game. Darius Slay was out. Reed Blankenship and Bradley Roby both went out of the game. And while the defensive line sacked Zach Wilson five times, it wasn’t their best performance of the year.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Josh Shuster, filling in for the guys this week!
