EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Giants, Week 16

Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books, and it was a nail biter. The Eagles beat the New York Giants at The Linc by a score of 33-25. The Eagles are now 11-4 on the season, and they are in first place within the NFC East division as we look toward the playoffs.

It was an up and down game for both sides of the ball. Jalen Hurts was, at times, on fire. Other times, he was making poor decisions and keeping the Giants in the game. Some on offense are playing “hero ball” and it’s not working for this Eagles team in general.

The defensive side of the ball, led by Matt Patrica, held up against a not-so-talented Giants offense. Once again, we talked about how CB James Bradberry truly looks cooked at this point in his career. We also noted the concerns with the Birds’ pass rush and Josh Sweat in particular.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. Many thanks to our friend of the pod, Matt Rogers, for filling in this week and cohosting with Jeff.
