EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Commanders, Week 8

Week 8 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Washington Commanders at FedEx Field in Landover, MD by a score of 38-31 in a tough divisional matchup. The Eagles are now 7-1 on the season, and they are in first place in the NFC East division.

Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith were a trio that was on fire today. They are the sole reasons why this team won on the road. After some sloppy turnovers in the first half, the offense got the better of the Commanders defense in this game.

Meanwhile, the Eagles defense was absolutely horrendous. It was probably their worst game of the season. They allowed Sam Howell, not the greatest quarterback in the league, throw all over the field. They could not stop intermediate pass plays, and the secondary gave up 4 touchdown receptions.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Josh Shuster, filling in for the guys this week!
