EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Cardinals, Week 17

Week 17 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books, and it was a terrible loss, one we’ll remember for some time as this Eagles team continues to unravel at the seams. The Eagles lost to the Arizona Cardinals at The Linc by a score of 35-31. The Eagles are now 11-5 on the season, and they are in second place within the NFC East division as we look toward the playoffs.

The Eagles was absolutely horrendous and reminded us fans of Swiss cheese and tissue paper. James Connor rushed for 126 yards. The linebackers were falling down all over the field, and the secondary was just awful and let the Cardinals receivers dominate them throughout the game. It was one of the most embarrassing games us fans have witnessed as Eagles fans.

Offensively, Jalen Hurts and the wide receivers had a respectable game, but it didn’t matter as they played well to spite the coaching. The Eagles coaching staff and their inability to make productive in-game decisions, especially at the end of games, continues to plague this team.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. Many thanks to our friend of the pod, Josh Shuster, for filling in this week and cohosting with Jeff.
