Eagles Postgame: Eagles vs. Buccaneers, Wild Card

The Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now over as they lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers down in Tampa by a score of 32-9. It was a terrible game offensively and defensively from start to finish

Offensively, Jalen Hurts had one wide receiver, DeVonta Smith, who stepped up and made plays. Baffling as it was, the offensive coaching staff decided not to lean on the run game as many of us hoped.

Defensively, the defensive line actually showed some life and generated four sacks and six quarterback hits. However, their tackling, once again, was atrocious.

Conventional wisdom is telling us coaching changes will be coming as well as major changes to the Eagles personnel in the future. Let the offseason begin.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. Many thanks to our friend of the pod, Matt Rogers from the Honorable Mention podcast, for filling in this week and cohosting with Jeff.
