EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Bills, Week 12

Week 12 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Buffalo Bills in overtime at The Linc in Philadelphia by a score of 37-34. The Eagles are now 10-1 on the season, they clinched a playoff berth, and they remain in first place in the NFC East division.

As they did last week, the Eagles dug a huge hole for themselves. When the score was 24 and 14 Bills, it was the largest deficit entering the fourth quarter for the Eagles in 2023. But they came back thanks to Jalen Hurts who threw for three touchdowns and ran for two. He was absolutely clutch when he needed to be.

Meanwhile, the Eagles defense gave up huge chunk plays in this game, and were absolutely atrocious on 3rd and long. Once again, they were horrible letting their opponent convert 3rd downs throughout the game. While the Bills dominated time of possession in this game, we discussed whether or not that stat truly means that much anymore.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Josh Shuster from PhiladelphiaSoccerNow.com, filling in for the guys this week!
