EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. 49'ers, Week 13

Week 13 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books, and it was, by far, their worst performance this season as they now have their second loss. The Birds lost to the San Francisco 49’ers at The Linc in Philadelphia by a score of 42-19. The Eagles are now 10-2 on the season, and they remain in first place in the NFC East division.

The Eagles got steamrolled in the trenches, and were out-coached in every phase of the game. Niners quarterback Brock Purdy put up touchdowns when the Eagles settled for field goals in the first half. In fact, Purdy went 6 of 7 for 119 yards with a TD in the third quarter and had a 158.3 rating.

Meanwhile, the Eagles defense gave up huge chunk plays, once again, in this game as we’ve seen for weeks now. The middle of the field was a playing ground for the Niners offensive weapons as the Eagles linebackers and secondary had no answers for them.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.
