Jeff had the opportunity to interview former Philadelphia Phillies Von Hayes, Doug Glanville, and Bob Dernier at the Reading Hot Stovers Banquet in Reading, PA. The Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now officially over as they lost to the San Francisco 49’ers at The Linc by a score of 23-19. Once again, the prevalent theme of this season was the offense not being able to do enough and score in the second half. After stalling on multiple drives with a number of 3-and-outs, the offensive scheme was the Achilles heel for the team. Consequently, the Eagles defense, which had been elite for much of the season, faltered in the end as well. The Eagles now head to the offseason where a lot of difficult decisions will need to be made before the 2026 season.

The Philadelphia Eagles head to the playoffs, and yet we still have so many questions about what we’ll see from this team, especially from an offensive standpoint. Meanwhile, the defense has been dominant and needs to remain that way for them to see postseason success. Week 17 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Buffalo Bills up in northwest New York by a score of 13-12. The Eagles defense was dominant throughout the game and are the reason why this team won in a monsoon. The Eagles are now 11-5 on the season and still waiting to see what seed they’ll be in the playoffs as they currently stand at No. 3.
