The Philadelphia Eagles week 17 and final game of the 2017 NFL season is now in the books as the Birds lost to the Dallas Cowboys at The Linc by a score of 6-0. This week, we saw a lot of Eagles backups on the field since many of the starters were resting before the playoffs. Overall, it was an ugly game for the Eagles and Cowboys offenses. Questions will be asked after this game heading into the divisional round as to whether or not Nick Foles or Nate Sudfeld should be the starting quarterback. In his first game as a NFL quarterback, Sudfeld put up better numbers, was more mobile and seemed to have a better arm than Foles. Offensive woes aside, the Eagles defense stepped up their game only allowing the Cowboys and their starters to score six total points. It was clear how well the defensive depth played this week. Eagles Nation finally had the opportunity to see CB Sidney Jones play on the field. He was only targeted twice and gave up 3 yards, but left the game with an apparent hamstring injury. It will be interesting to see what happens to the rookie cornerback from here on out. As always, we gave our analysis and takeaways from the game. We also got into the team stats, box score and graded the coaches performances.
